The Orient menu offers re-imagined
classics with a gourmet spin; a combination of fine dining and a comfortable,
laid-back atmosphere that works on every level, from our ground floor Marine
Bar to the Dining Room, Cocktail Bar and Atrium on the first floor.
Using the best locally-sourced
produce, the Orient pays tribute to the 1844 building's first owner: a
butcher-providore who supplied locally grown produce from cattle-yards at
Blackwattle Bay. This tradition continues with our menu offering fine produce from
suppliers such as Cape Grim beef, Kinkawooka mussels, Riverine meats and
Lilydale free-range chicken.
