So you want to be entertained? Catching a Mark Travers show whilst you're in Sydney is not to be missed! One man, one guitar, and an uncanny ability to create an energy-filled room that'll have you grinning from ear to ear. Mark's performance is filled with classic sing along covers you'll know, mixed in with today's new music, and seasoned with original tunes that will leave with an experience not easily forgotten - an exceptional night's entertainment.

NATASHA DUARTE
(6PM-9PM)
Natasha Duarte, is only 20 years old but is no stranger to the Sydney music scene. She has been gigging since the age of 13 in and around Sydney's clubs, pubs and hotels.
The songstress began singing in her early years, encouraged by those around her and soon started writing her own songs and playing the guitar. She has won numerous song writing awards such as International Song writing Competition, Nashville and the UK Song writing Competition, which she recently won in the video category. Natasha has a large repertoire of songs and can sing many genres. Her husky tones bring a warm ambience to the audience. Her influences are diverse and include artists such as Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Rodriguez and the classic Fleetwood Mac.
RECKLESS

They're baaaack! Crowd favourites Reckless return to the Orient's opening week with a set that's sure to rock the foundations!
The band incorporates high energy audience participation with a modern choice of songs as well as the classics including requests. Their repertoire is upbeat and diverse ranging in many styles from rock to pop, dance and country which enables them to entertain a wide range of audiences.

JONATHAN LEE JONES

Check out Jonathan Lee Jones, a natural entertainer with warm acoustic guitar sounds, shrill harmonica riffs and a distinct, smooth vocal. JJ will put his own slant on all your favourite rock, pop, blues and classic tunes from the heyday to our modern era.
CHOSEN FEW

The Chosen Few are one of the most popular live covers band based in Sydney . Featuring experienced musicians who have many live and television performances to their credit – they have fast become sought-after by audiences keen to party hard.
Let them take you on a musical journey from The Beatles to The Black Keys – From MatchBox 20 to Mumford & Sons, Neon Trees, One Republic & Kings Of Leon, Swedish House Mafia … and beyond.
Sun 06Opening Week at the Orient!
LONESOME TRAIN
(3.30PM-6.30PM)
Lonesome Train are the quintessential good-time act: you can't help but have a straw chewin', knee slappin' good time when the Train rips into their repertoire of classics from any decade or musical genre. Lonesome Train features twangin' guitar slinger, Christian Power, Aussie rock'n'roll legend Doug Dekroo slappin' on double bass and the stand up drumming of Rob Laurie. The huge sound this trio creates is something to see and hear and the range of material they play could be anything from Hank Williams or Johnny Cash for the purists, to Cold Chisel, ACDC, Prince or Aerosmith.
ELEVATE

Set your sights high with Elevate, a charismatic bunch of musicians playing all the tunes you want to hear to get your night soaring. Up dancing and singing from the very first song to the very end, that is Elevate with Steve Hancock, a local favourite, on vocals.

Steve Twitchin is a solo performer that lays his passion for ‘the performance’ on the line each and every gig. A raw vocal and driving acoustic guitar will take you on a journey from Cat Stevens through to The Stereophonics…from Ed Sheeran to Pearl Jam. Come enjoy the ride.

Becoming an Australian Idol Finalist in 2005 stamped Dan Spillane as an artist to watch, finishing fifth out of 30,000 acts is a tremendous achievement for such a young artist.
His ability to entertain a crowd is second to none. One of the most diverse singers to emerge in Australia, you can expect to hear Jazz, Pop, Rock, Folk, Blues and Soul regularly from Dan.
Dan's ability to take a song somewhere else and make it his own is the trademark of this young, fresh, highly entertaining guitarist/singer.
